Electronics Soldering

Want to try your hand at soldering? Learn the basics as you solder a number of objects! Soldering experience not required. We will start by learning the fundamentals of solder, the role of flux and the importance of maintaining a clean tip. We will solder a number of different objects:

• • Breadboard soldering with through hole components
  • Soldering connecting wires, we’ll also throw in a few tricky anodised wires.
  • Learn how to de-solder through hole components.

Finally, we will solder together a simple electronics kit, that has IC’s, LED’s and resistors.
After this introduction, you’ll feel confident in talking any soldering challenge.
