Use App Inventor to code an app that will run on a real Android phone. We’ll use this visual programming tool to build out a number of apps that we can test and use on either your own Android phone or one of our shared phones in the Studio.

We’ll cover how to design the user interface, which will incorporate buttons, images, sounds and even sensors like the accelerometer. Then we’ll write code that connects this user interface and makes the app work.

No experience with Scratch is needed, if you already know Scratch that will be great, you’ll be well placed to make some more advanced apps.
