Robotics: Sumo Build and Battle / Robot Soccer
Start by assembling your own mBot, you’ll need to follow the instructions and screw together the motors, sensors and circuit board. Once completed we’ll use a special version of Scratch to write some code for this great little bot. We’ll then setup our bots to play a game of soccer.
No experience with Scratch is needed, if you already know Scratch that will be great, you’ll learn how Scratch and coding can control real world objects.
Once the excitement of the soccer is over and we are rested up, we’ll then code and construct an EV3 to battle out a sumo challenge. Your job will be to ensure that your robot is capable of being the last robot standing inside the sumo ring.
